How to Receive Jesus Christ as your Savior

If you have never given your life to the Lord Jesus Christ, we invite you to do so.

1.    RECOGNIZE GOD’S PLAN – GOD LOVES YOU

God loves you very much and He wants to give you His peace and blessings. The Bible says,

“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life” – John 3:16.

2.    REALIZE YOUR PROBLEM – YOU ARE A SINNER

People choose to disobey God and go after their own desires. This results in separation from God. So the Bible says,

“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God – Romans 3:23.  For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord– Romans 6:23.

3.    RESPOND TO GOD’S REMEDY – REPENT

Jesus paid the penalty for our sins when He died on the cross and rose from the grave. The Bible says,

But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us– Romans 5:8.  Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out– Acts 3:19. Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved – Acts 16:31.

4.    RECEIVE JESUS CHRIST – AS YOUR PERSONAL SAVIOR AND LORD

Pray and ask Jesus to forgive your sins and come into your heart to be your Savior and Lord. The Bible says,

But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name – John 1:12. “If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation – Romans 10:9-10.  For whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved– Romans 10:13.

If you would like to ask Jesus into your heart today, PLEASE PRAY:

Dear Father, I come before You and I believe You sent Your Son, Jesus to die on the cross to pay the penalty for my sins. I know I am a sinner and I humbly ask for Your forgiveness. I invite Jesus to come into my heart and my life to be my Lord, Savior and Friend. Thank You for giving me a new life in Christ. I give you my life, please lead me and guide me and make me what you want me to be. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.

Welcome to the family of God!

There are a few things God wants you to do now:

1.    Pray, talk to Him as you would a friend.

2.    Read His word, the Holy Bible.

3.    Attend a Bible teaching church to grow in the knowledge of God.

4.    Share your testimony with others.
